Read below about various Cuisinart coffee makers and cuisinart coffee grinders.
For coffee machines from other brands, please see on the Navigation Bar on the left side of this page under the section title "Brands."
As with other popular brands, Cuisinart carries a whole line of coffee makers of various models, designs and capacities.
The cuisinart coffee machine series includes separate coffee machines as well as Cuisinart coffee maker grinder machines which do both the grinding of the coffee beans and the brewing of the coffee.
This cusinart coffee maker is a nice, attractive, modern-looking and solid 12 5oz cup coffee making machine, which makes really hot and good-tasting coffee, and it is priced affordably.
It is an adequate and apparently fairly-lasting coffee maker, which is not something you can say about many other coffee making machines.
It is well-constructed and its programmable features are simple and easy to operate.
It has a Retro-style, brushed metal and black finish. It has a programmable timer, auto shut-off and a light indicating when it needs cleaning.
It has an option to brew either 1 to 4 or 5 to 12 cups of coffee. It includes a permanent filter (you can use also paper filters). It also has a water filter to eliminate water impurities and bad tastes and odors.
There are 3 temperature settings, low, medium and high. At the hottest level it may even be too hot unless you add milk.
It beeps when brew is finished, which is favored by some and annoying to others.
It carries a 3 year manufacturer warranty against defects.
When you use the machine, make sure the carafe sits well on the hotplate.
The coffee machine is a bit tall (measuring 14-1/4 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 10-3/4 inches deep, including carafe handle).
The water reservoir is a bit awkward, as its opening is in the back of the machine to the right, so one has to pull it out from under the cabinet each time to add water, and the water tank opening is small, so it’s a bit hard to add the water and it may spill over the counter.
In order to know how much water is in there you’ll have to look into it, since there’s no external water level indicator, which is not easy, especially for short people.
There’s a lot of Condensation on the inside of the lid, which drips down in the back when opened.
The lid of the carafe has to be taken down and placed back on instead of hinges, and it is a bit hard to remove and put it back on.
The clock is not back-lit and is hard to read.

This is a Cuisinart automatic grind and brew coffeemaker grinder. It grinds and brews up to 12 cups (small size) of coffee. It makes good and hot coffee.
The mill and brew machine, which is a coffee brewer and a grinder in one unit, does the whole work from grinding the beans to brewing the freshly ground coffee.
The Cuisinart coffe maker features a bur grinder, which is better than a blade grinder and makes better and more even ground.
It has programmable features and controls to program and automate the grinding and brewing process, a strength selector to select the strength of the coffee to weak, mild or strong.
It adjusts the amount of ground according to the amount of cups and strength level you choose.
The company suggests a medium grind to prevent over extraction of the bean flavors and bitterness as a result of grinding too finely, or a weak quality due to grinding too coarsely.
The Cuisinart automatic grind and brew coffeemaker comes with an 8-ounce bean hopper, the container that contains the beans, that can take half a pound of beans, so you don’t have to refill every time, and it has a lid to seal it and prevent moisture.
It features and auto shutoff, and it has a grind-off option in case you just want to brew ready-ground beans and not use the grinder. Push the grind-off button and it will only brew.
The mill and brew coffee maker includes a commercial-style permanent filter, although you can use paper filters too.
It has a water filter to filter and purify the water for a better quality and taste.
It carries a 3-year limited warranty by the manufacturer.
One downside of this grind and brew coffee making machine is that the chute, the channel that leads the beans after grinding to the brewer, is designed horizontally, which may cause ground to get stuck there and it needs cleaning after several servings, which to some may be enough of a pain to outweigh the grinder-brewer concept which aims to make life easier.
However, it is not the biggest problem you can find on a coffee machine, and for others it’s not something to worry about since cleaning is easy and takes just a few minutes.
Also, beware that it might not always last long, and some people had malfunctioning and short-lifespan problems with the coffeemaker.
