Is drinking coffee healthy?

According to a Foxnews.com article (http://www.foxnews.com/health/2011/10/11/coffee-vs-tea-which-is-healthier) - coffee drinking is healthy in many ways and it is healthier than drinking black tea.

Based on the report, coffee is good for your health in the following aspects -

  • Coffee decreases mental fatigue.

  • 300 mg of caffeine/day (2 large cups of coffee) can improve a negative mood.

  • Coffee reduces the risk of Parkinson’s disease.

  • Flavonoids Antioxidants in coffee reduces bad cholesterol and protects against cardiovascular disease -- heart attacks and strokes.

  • Coffee stimulates bowel activity and reduces risk of digestive disorders ,gallstones, liver cirrhosis, colon and rectal cancers.

    A new study suggests that by drinking more coffee your risk of getting sick from a number of diseases may become lower. The more coffee your drink per day, the lower your risk of getting sick by strokes, heart diseases, and even car accidents, according to the report.
