New CoffeeCup Single Cup Coffee Pods To Compete With Keurig K-Cups

Lincoln-based Rogers Family Coffee Company announced that it had developed a new single cup coffee pod, the "OneCup," the first single serve pod to work successfully with the Keurig K-cup coffee makers without infringing the Keurig patent owned by the Vermont-based Green Mountain Coffee Roasters company.

The OneCup is sold in grocery stores across the US at $6.99 a box of 12, much less than the popular K-cup.

The single cup coffee system is a rapidly growing multibillion dollar industry.
